Rate of UK warming revealed

Stop Bristol Airport Expansion have obtained data from the Met Office that shows as never before the rate of temperature increase in the UK. As far as we know this up to date data has not been illustrated in this way before.

Thousands of temperature measurements for the last 100 years have been combined in an animated movie which shows the acceleration of temperature increase across the UK. Only in the last ten years does the temperature begin to rocket, and in parts of the south west the temperature increase is now almost off the scale.
