![]() Venue, (Bristol and Bath's formerly leftish What's On magazine, now owned by the Daily Mail) has taken a big drop in sales recently, an insider tells us. The magazine, which is partly funded out of the profits of the Bristol Evening Post, is losing readers over a perceived agenda to reposition itself in line with the values of the Northcliffe group, its parent company. This has led to accusations of dumbing-down and a decline in standards, which has not been helped by the magazine appearing to support the new Sainsbury's development on the Gloucester Road.
