The Lakota development plans - back to the drawing board!

The Lakota, well known Bristol night spot was due to close and re-open as flats, a cafe and a community arts space - but the plans are back to the drawing board now!

Here is what the consultants, Avril Baker Consultancy (http://abc-pr.co.uk ) said;

"Back in December 2006, we wrote to advise you that Lakota Development LLP had submitted a planning application (reference numbers: 06/05017/LC, 06/05020/F, 06/05020/LA) to Bristol City Council for the redevelopment of the Lakota Club/former Coroner's Court site in Bristol.

Following discussions with officers from the local planning authority and issues in relation to the proposed basement, I thought you would be interested to know that the Lakota LLP project team have now withdrawn this application and are reconsidering the scheme.

The nature of the issues means that the team is looking at redesigning the scheme, and are hoping to submit a revised application once the redesign process is complete."
