Bristol’s most intrepid sports club, the Easton Cowboys, recently became the first British football team to tour the Occupied Territories. It was an eye opening trip that involved (sadly inevitable) checkpoint hassle, kickabouts in the old city of Hebron under the watchful eye of both the IDF and gun-toting settlers, as well as a game at Abu Dis that was played, quite literally, in the shadow of the apartheid wall.

Tonight members of the team will recount their experiences and show slides from the tour. Also featured is a showing of GOAL DREAMS, a documentary about the Palestinian national team and the huge problems they encountered in their recent World Cup qualifying campaign.
