Shadi, who went as normal to sign at Trinity Road Police Station today, was detained, despite being accompanied by a friend. Details of his story are sparse, but what we do know is not cause for optimism. His father has been recently disappeared by Syrian Police, who routinely beat and torture people(see link below).
what can we do...? call trinity road police station on 0845 4567000, and as to speak to the commanding officer. so me people have called for a demo, but this hasn't been confirmed yet. You could just go down there yourself and ask after his welfare.
