The much anticipated return of the permaculture course for activists

The permaculture course for activists is coming back to Ragman's Lane Farm in the Forest of Dean this summer from 12 to 26 July.
As in previous years, Starhawk will be facilitating the course and this year she will be joined by Andy Goldring, from the Permaculture Association (Britain).

The two week intensive course covers the following topics:
* Nature and wilderness awareness
* Diversity in ecosystems and our movement
* Solutions that exist: alternative energy; organic farming; natural building; bioremediation and restoration
* Soil and forest ecology
* Ecological economics
* How to collect, conserve and clean water
* Ecological base camp design for action camps
* Movement building, strategy and direct action principles and practices
* Concensus process, facilitation and conflict transformation
* How to transform fear, rage, grief and frustration into creative action
* How to stay grounded and centred in challenging situations
* How to create ritual and weave magic into action...

On completion of the course, participants receive a permaculture design certificate, recognised by the Permaculture Association (Britain).
