hhhmmm i read no logo by naomi klein 6 years ago then the corporation by joel bakan and it is quite clear to me that 90% of the population of this country have absolutley no knowledge of the devastation and social disruption profit makers have on our communities. every inner city poor area around the world is being turned into posh flats and consumer space, at a massive cost. the m32 in bristol was the first divide of the ethnic and poor communities and broadmead expansion is the next. apart from the fact its democratic space the costs of the build are so high, and thats because scientifically we should not be building on that land.
i went to shanghai there are people who live in total poverty a stones throw away from the richest in the world these people are being pushed to the outskirts of the cities so the rich don't have to look at them or feel like tessa jowl the need to wear a stab vest in her local commuity. say good bye bristol to your democratic space while your spending thousands on unsustainable plastic goods, which are being proccessed in the third world so you cannot see the polution or the sweat shopping that is still prolific today, hide your eyes to it and pretend it doesn't happen. the books stated at the top are worth reading they explain information our government will not tell you on the bbc or anywhere else we are heading for a police state and most people are seeming to enjoy that fact. if the world wants to consume like the united states has for the last 80 years we need five planet earths worth or natural resources to feed this addiction. why can't china progress and pollute the world we have and still are, the USA and UK created this mess around 400 years ago corruption on corporate and finacial levels has to stop for our childrens sake. shopping is destroying the planet its bad.
