John Bolton will not now be speaking in Bristol

The decision was, according to BCDP, his alone.

EVENT CANCELLATION - Ambassador Bolton has confirmed his original plan to attend the Hay Festival but this will now be an exclusive visit to the UK. Much to our regret his schedule no longer permits a visit to Bristol. Refunds will be available at Watershed box office for those who purchased tickets.

People may wish to meet at the Watershed that evening anyway for a pint or three to celebrate the fact that we kept a war criminal out of Bristol ... and discuss future tactics.
