category bristol | peace | event notice author Thursday June 05, 2008 17:36author by info@bristolstopwar - Bristol Stop The War Coalition Report this post to the editors

George Bush is on the European leg of his Farewell World Tour in early June and is visiting London on Sunday June 15th.

The Stop The War Coalition is organising a demonstration in London to say loud and clear that Bush is not welcome here and to insist that the British government end its slavish support for his wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and Somalia and his threats to attack Iran and Syria.

Bristol Stop The War Coalition are organising coaches from Bristol. The price will be £14 waged and £7 unwaged. Selling tickets at ticket outlets isn’t easy at short notice. If you want to come with us please email your name, address and phone number to bristolstopwar@hotmail.com or phone 07810 000083. We will then confirm the details with you and either get a ticket to you or reserve a ticket for collection on June 15th. Please contact us as soon as possible so we can guarantee you a place.

Coaches will leave from Anchor Road, Bristol at 8.15am. For a map see:
