Film: Beneath the Din of the Sewing Machines is a 30 minute film about women workers in the Bangalore garment industry and their struggle for better conditions and lives. The film will be introduced by Suhasini Singh, a researcher for the Bangalore based NGO Cividep.

Suhasini has been researching working conditions at garment factories supply UK companies including Tesco, Asda and M&S. She is in the UK on a 10 day speaker tour with Labour Behind the Label, highlighting the exploitation of workers producing for Tesco, M&S and Asda.
