category bristol | media and culture | press release author Wednesday July 30, 2008 11:44author by Jodieauthor email jodieleenrg at hotmail dot com Report this post to the editors

A proper eclectic dance night for everyone - all proceeds to the Red Cross!

Come along for a massive variety of dance music guaranteed to at least get those toes jigging all the way along the dancefloor! We have a sweet line-up for you guys, all in aid of some really good causes... We hope to see you there, please invite your mates also!

Only £3 entry - bargain!

After the recent devastation in Burma from cyclone Nargis and China's Sichuan earthquake, billions of pounds are needed to help these countries recover. The tensions between these countries is great due to the current situation in Tibet, though in natural disasters the most important thing is obviously to act with humanity. So lets try and help both of these countries and raise some money to get to those who need it, in both countries!

ROBOSAPIENS
(You guys loved this pair of Bristol breaks boys last time they were at the Plough, so here they are again just for you!)

DJ HIGHART
(Well known for her tip-top mixing of choice funky groovy tunes, this girl will definitely have you on the dancefloor!)

PETE D
(A familiar face around the Bristol house music circuit, playing some old-school acid house to take you back in time!)

AJ-V
(This one's being let loose again with his wicked style of banging beats, techno to shake yer fist to - bring it on!)

BROOKSIE
(This connoisseur of breakbeat has been known to force a dancefloor into an arse-wiggling frenzy with his ultra smooth mixing - watch out!)

DILEMMA
(This girl certainly has a few tricks in her bag when it comes to electro and breaks, all with a big smile behind the decks)

JODIE LEE
(This one has a few surprises for you guys at this night! Be prepared)

All proceeds will be split 50/50 to:
RED CROSS - Myanmar (Burma) cyclone appeal
RED CROSS - Chinese earthquake appeal

Please come along and show your support! Inviting your mates too would be well appreciated :-)

See ya there xx
