Kebele Cafe's closed in August

category south west | community | announcement author Friday August 01, 2008 15:35author by Cafe Beale - Kebele Cafe Collective Report this post to the editors

Re-open Saturday September 6th

Kebele Cafe will be closed during August to give everyone a chance to enjoy the sunshine (pah!)

BIG THANKS to all of those who have given their time and energy to volunteer in the caffs over the last year, you are the living embodiment of the anarchist ideal, proto-citizens of the interstellar alliance, Noble Peas Prize Winners, the wind in our sales, the jam in our vegan doughnut, the stakhanovite in our tractor factory, and all-round good 'no-egg's!

Thanks to all the people who have eaten at the cafe and brought your love, life and laughter to our humble cafe. We do appreciate it, even though sometimes the hosts are too busy chasing their tails to show their gratitude.

Speaking of hosts, despite what you may read on other areas of this site (and probably in the comments to follow this article), we are NOT a closed group, we would be very happy for you to get involved with the cafe. As long as you respect yourself and others, and are sympathetic to the aims of Kebele (i.e. fighting to create a beautiful, equitable, sensual world full of dancing ponys with seaweed in their hair prancing around the tombstones of Bob Geldof and other bullsh*t sprayers) then we would love to have you on board!

Drop into the cafe when it opens on September 6th to find out more. See ya then!
