Bristol cash machines are randomly eating cash cards. why?

Last night I walked past a cash machine in central Bristol which had a hand written sign on it that read "Do not use this cash machine as it is randomly eating cards". Then I tried to use my card in another machine. The machine did not return my card despite my account being in credit. Then I tried another machine somewhere else in Bristol. Yes .... another card was eaten for no reason!

We all know the credit crunch is bad and that banks are going under all over the world.

What if UK banks are getting machines to eat cards of customers in credit BECAUSE THEY WANT TO SLOW DOWN THE RATE AT
WHICH PEOPLE WITHDRAW MONEY BECAUSE BANKS ARE RUNNING OUT OF MONEY?

Think I'm being paranoid or panicky?

Look at Nothern Rock. Look at Bear Sterns. Look at the stock market, the price of oil etc etc.

Look at the fact that effectively we have no Government in the UK at the moment! Gordon Brown is having a nervous breakdown!

Something is up.

My advice is get your money out of UK Banks now and buy gold. Everything else is an illusion.

Good luck.

I think things are going to get pretty crazy, pretty soon.
