Council Works Coat Park in Mud

Just in time for the weekend? I hope not.

In my local park, for some reason, workers left a huge skip filled with sludge. Not surprisingly this has become a problem.

A few days ago work started on the tree roots in the park. Workers produced a huge skip of muddy sludge - which they left there. Then it rained and rained - and the skip filled to the brim and then started to coat the park in mud. It is a total mess and I hope it is cleaned up before bank holiday weekend. The park is popular, used by the boxing club for training in, kids play football and cricket and such like. This is sloppy service and I dread to think what we as tax-payers are going to be charged to clear up this mess? I know local residents have been onto the council about it but so far all they have done is put a pathetic bit of red-and-white tape around the mess.
