![]() An evening of actions in Bristol, Friday 20th Feb On Friday 20th Feb 2009 Bristol's new Sexual Assault Referral Clinic will open. This represents the best chance for men, women and children who have been affected by sexual violence to recover from their attacks and to get justice. In Avon and Somerset only 4.2% of rape cases end in a conviction, the new clinic will help close this justice gap. Later this year Bristol's first Rape Crisis centre will also open offering long-term support.

Jump To Comment: 1This is a very welcome and inclusive set of actions and developments. Of course, let us not forget that it is predominanly women who suffer in ways that the above seek to highlight and counter, but also always remember that there are many men and children crying out for help too.
Open arms give rise to open arms, and mine are no-longer folded.
