BRISTOL LATIN AMERICA FORUM 2009

Progressive change is sweeping Latin America and 2009 marks two highly significant anniversaries: 50 years since the triumph of the Cuban revolution, and 10 years of democracy and social progress in Venezuela. Bristol Latin America Forum, now in its 4th year, is an opportunity to learn more about developments across the continent, through talks, in depth workshops, film and other activities. Come and hear invited keynote speakers, discuss the issues and find out more about solidarity work and how you can help build this locally. Food and refreshments will be provided by Kebele social centre. The Forum will take place from 10am to 5.30pm on Saturday 25th April, at University of Bristol Faculty of Arts, 3-5 Woodland Road, Bristol – get there in good time as this is a free event which you do not have to book in advance, but places are limited.
