Monthly public meet of the Bristol ABC prisoner support group. We have a general chat about ongoing prison & prisoner support issues, and encourage people to write to prisoners.

From 7 to 9pm at Kebele social centre, 14 Robertson Rd, Bristol BS5 6JY. Hot drinks available, bring snacks to share. All those interested in supporting prisoners, and campaigning against the prison society, are welcome to come along.

We have long list of political prisoners across the UK, and the world, as well as contact with some 'social' prisoners who have been radicalised by their experiences at the hands of the state. We also have paper, pens and envelopes - you bring the letter-writing muscle!

Local to Bristol, we have 2 of the EDO decommissioners still locked up on remand, without any trial, nearly 3 months after being arrested. We are also aware of at least 2 Bristolians being amongst the over 100 protesters arrested at the G20 protests. They need our support!
