Urgent: banner storage ends
warning about imminent loss of Vigil banner storage, 27th June
The Peace Vigil has been asked to remove its bag from the current store by the pub's new manager. I have negotiated a stay of execution till Saturday 27th. Perhaps you can find another hidey hole? Marvelous! If not, please come along on Saturday, 3pm, if you want to take your banner home.
Our thanks to all the staff of the Chicago Rock bar on the Bristol water-front for storing our banner for us over the last year
It was always a pleasurable encounter to those of us who collected or returned the Peace trolley to the area you very kindly allocated to us.
Your enthusiastic, polite and pleasing reception was really appreciated.
Our very best wishes for the future to the Chicago Rock Bar under it's new management.
The peace vigil banner has been retrieved and is secure until something can be sorted out.
However it may not be available for this afternoon's 3.00 pm vigil.
