July's Critical Mass bike ride on Friday 31 will be an amazing sight - in the spirit of summer festivals, everyone is encouraged to decorate their bikes and/or themselves.. Let's get heads turning as our colourful procession goes around central Bristol! As usual we'll have a carnival atmosphere with music and balloons and crazy custom bikes! Join us, and invite friends!

We meet at 5.30pm at the fountains across from the Hippodrome, and set off around 6pm. The route is decided spontaneously by everyone, and usually ends at a pub... :-)

( Critical Mass is a group bicycle ride that takes place in cities throughout the world on the last Friday of each month. The ride is leaderless and organic; there are no true "organizers". Because of this (lack of) structure, Critical Mass serves as many purposes as there are participants. Some ride to promote sustainable transport, some to celebrate their love of bicycles, some to network with other cyclists, some to raise awareness of the legitimacy of bike transportation, etc. )
