Bristol Smokers Latest

A peaceful meeting of Bristol Smokers has issued the following statement:

'Bristol Smokers call upon the Government to recognize the contradictions inherent in their anti-smoking legislation, whereby a smoker can be exposed to dangerous and planet-threatening car-fumes at all times, but cannot
practise a legal habit of choice in a cafe or pub, and accept that many of the smoking population (approx 40% of adults) will not be voting for them in the next election if they do not act to change the laws.'
