Well it seems the local voting scene has spared the LibDems the worst of the kicking they are getting at a national level.  In Bristol they have been bruised loosing Ashley to the Greens, Hengrove, Lawrence Hill and St George West to the Labour Party.  However, overall they still have the control of the council:

LIBDEM   33 LABOUR   21 CONSERVATIVE   14 GREEN   2

This was the vote share last time (6th May)

LIBDEM   44435 34.27 CONSERVATIVE   35283 27.21 LABOUR   34731 26.79 GREEN   10290 7.94 BNP   3603 2.78 ENGLISH DEMOCRATS   855 0.66 INDEPENDENT   452 0.35

And this time:

LABOUR   31176 35.79 LIBDEM   21692 24.90 CONSERVATIVE   18215 20.91 GREEN   12535 14.39 TRADE UNIONISTS AND SOCIALISTS   1226 1.41 ENGLISH DEMOCRATS   1135 1.30 UK INDEPENDENCE PARTY   554 0.64 INDEPENDENT   458 0.53 BNP   112 0.13

Labour moved to the top now with the highest share of the votes.  The tory vote dropped a bit - but the other news is the BNP vote has dropped lots - partly because they only contested 1 seat this time, but its dropped from 2.78% to 0.13%!
