![]() David Cameron believes he can get away with not only cutting our benefits, support and services but also for blaming the disabled, retired and out of work for the mess his rich mates have made of the economy, its time we showed him he's wrong! On Thursday June 30th over a million workers in public services will be striking in protest at the harsh and unnecessary cuts the Con-Dem politicians are making. In Bristol hundreds of people will be marching to make their discontent heard! We won't put up with being labeled as scroungers, pushed into poverty or being forced into slave labour 'workfare' schemes. Join us at Kings Square where benefit claimants and supporters can join together to make our voices heard and link up with those who provide the services we use - its only together we will win. Thursday June 30th Support PCS staff on the picket lines Claimants feeder march http://www.boycottworkfare.org/ Main March
*You can reach King Square via Jamacia St (on Stokes Croft opposite the canteen/Hamilton House) or Dighton St (on Marlborough St between the BRI and the roundabout, opposite the back of the bus station). |
