Patriotic parasite

Well hello all you patriotic partygoers out there!

Recently I discovered this tick attached to my chest sucking my blood -well ok it wasnt really covered in bunting, that was just a bit of artistic licence. It occurred to me that the royals are also superbly adapted parasites, as firmly embedded in our society as the tick was to my chest...

 Ticks are 100% upfront about their intentions, they dont pretend to be of great benefit to their host. Neither do they promote arms sales, or con young soldiers into killing and dying for "Queen and Country" (when really its for "Government and Corporation, Profit and System)

In these times of horse terity you would think that this expensive royal fairytale would be one of the first things to be ditched, and that these spongers would lose their benefit cheques? Then again fairytales are a useful distraction and the system needs a placid population -and an ongoing supply of gun fodder for its murderous policies.
