An exciting opportunity for a supported creative business venture within The Island Bristol

Do you have an idea that needs space to grow?

The Island is a multi use arts facility and creation centre in the old police station in Bristol city centre. It hosts a wide variety of creative spaces from circus training, dance and rehearsal rooms, making spaces and artists studios to dark rooms, recording studios, a gallery and a suite of early 20th century police cells.

We have a number of larger spaces becoming available within the Island and our first port of call is to see whether there are Creative people out there looking to partner up with us to turn these spaces into exciting and vibrant additions to the project.

What we are looking for:
• A business plan outlining your idea, the resources you need, the costs involved, and the income expected
• Something the Island does not yet have
• Something to bring people to the Island to use the space
• A creative space to help diversify The Island and expand its income

What we are offering:
• A partnership that will allow the applicant to build their own creative business in conjunction with running the space
• Somewhere between free and discounted use of Island space
• Future potential for a directly paid role at The Island.

These are all guidelines and we would like to hear your ideas about how a partnership could work.

If you require further information, or would like to see the available spaces then please contact us. Please send your business proposals to info@theislandbristol.com  by 30th September 5pm.
