![]() This is a call for a help. Bristol City Council has recently proposed to introduce traffic-calming measures for the area around Westminster Road, Whitehall. I live in this area and my son attends the local school - Whitehall Primary - that backs onto the bike path. These measures would be, I think, BRILLIANT. They would stop through-traffic, they would restrict car parking, they would restrict stopping around the school... they even include planting trees. The proposal is currently open for public comment. I would greatly appreciate it if you, and anyone else you know in Bristol, were to write in support of "the proposals to calm traffic around Westminster Road" to Andrew.spicer@bristol.gov.uk or call Andrew on 0117 903 6819 and tell him YES YES YES! Just one sentence in support would be enough (see the bottom of this article for an example). Please include your address if you live in Bristol. ***Extra points if you want more info****
