About 200 people joined in the demonstration today to tell the council to re-regulate the buses in Bristol. The main aims of the demo were to push for an improved bus service for passengers and better conditions for drivers, and demand that the buses are run by someone who is accountable to the people of Bristol rather than to greedy shareholders. See www.reclaimthebuses.org for further info.

The march started at Castle Park at 12noon and continued via Broadmead (Union St) and Park St to College Green.

With a good turnout, nice weather and plenty of attention from the public, a fabulous day was had by all.
