3 Newly formed TMO's apply for governance of homes
Tenants scupper 2008 Housing Transfer Programme
Out of the darkness comes 3 TMO's in order to put assunder City Council plans to sell out tenants through moving towards an ALMO

Tenants take on Governance
They say good news travels fast, following the Governments approach to all Chief Executives of Councils to seek applications for the 2008 Housing transfer programme. News comes in that 3 Tenant Management Organisations TMO's have been formed under the "right to manage"
This news is sure to go down like a lead balloon within the higher eshelons of Bristol City Council. Any prior thoughts they had on passing away all of the housing stock to an Arms Length Management Organisation ALMO will not for the forseeable future occur as the 3 TMO's have applied to take on at least one third of the entire stock.
Could this now lead to other tenant groups forming and looking towards starting their own TMO? before, the Housing Management Board HMB (selected) makes agreement for any remaining stock to go ALMO.
