Brothers and Sisters There will be a Public Meeting hosted by the Socialist Party on Thursday 11th May, 07.30pm at the Naval Volunteer Pub to launch the Bristol Campaign For A New Workers Party. A New Party will not be set up there and then, nor will a date be set where one will be set up. The idea is that with other Trade Unionist and Community activists this discussion can be broadened out. It is anticipated that an organising committee could if people are in agreement, be set up to co ordinate future discussions and meetings. The statement below goes some way to explain the need for the Campaign. Certainly there were many workers on the recent Trades Council Demo against cuts that agreed either with the idea, or sincerely took the material away to read at home to make their minds up. Like those workers you are welcome to come and hear the ideas involved and participate in the discussion. Fraternally Steve W read full story / add a comment
