Here's an excerpt from the Schnews weekly freesheet, no.696, on the farcical arrest of 2 of the Bristol EDO Decommissioners, and 1 other from Brighton, at the Target Brimar public protest near Oldham on 17 October. Proof again of Brighton's cops desperation to get a conviction, any conviction, in their battle with the Smash EDO campaign and other anti-militarists who have engaged in anti-EDO actions. Even if it means the cops breaking their own rules... read full story / add a comment

Given that the 3 were all taken to the same police station, and were probably transported to Brighton in the same vehicle, then it seems they would have been placed in a much smaller geographical area together, where communication would have been practically unavoidable. So we wonder if the cops will now be taken to court for aiding and abetting peoples breach of bail conditions? read full story / add a comment

Do you think students should be charged more for University education?
Should people doing distance and part time learning be charged up front?
Should people going back into training at a later date be charged more and supported less?
Should people be saddled with £25k debt after a degree?

All this happens now, and they are thinking of making fees even more expensive. Get involved in our campaign! read full story / add a comment
