This autumn, the RSPB is asking the UK Government to tackle the greatest source of climate pollution in our economy: our power sector. If the UK could do one big thing to slash its carbon emissions, it would be to transform the power generation sector from one that is wasteful and heavily dependent on traditional fossil fuels to one that is highly efficient and relies on the UK's abundant renewable resources of wind, sun and surf.

Cycle Path at the Chocolate Factory at Greenbank

You may have seen articles about this in the Evening Post - there are links on our website if you haven't. This raises some issues with regard to the sale of park land and the P&GSS. We are arranging a meeting with Bristol Parks to discuss these and will report back at the next BPF meeting on 11th October.

My dad is a poor (relatively speaking) pensioner living here in Bristol, and because of a heart condition feels the cold even when his children do not.

He suffers so severely that he has to have the gas fire turned on most days even in the summer months!
