Monday 21 June saw a national protests against government cuts to higher education. Bristol's University of the West of England's main unions came together to march on the Vice Chancellor's office. Activists from Bristol and the South West travelled to Cardiff to join others for a protest outside Thomson Ecology, the company contracted to carry out the surveying for the Welsh Assembly badger cull due to start in the next few weeks.
