With over a month to go until Bristol’s Anarchist Bookfair, we are already fully booked up with stalls & workshops.
As the current crisis of capital deepens and yet another war (Georgia/Russia) breaks out over land and energy resources, we need more than ever a serious alternative to the chaos of the present world order and the suffering it inflicts upon us. And we need to take the time to properly sit down & chat about it – as equals.

The Bookfair Collective meets to organise this September's anarchist bookfair in Bristol. whilst the stalls & workshops are pretty much sorted now, there's still plenty to do! Working meeting of the Bristol Anarchist Bookfair Collective.
This week we consider proposals for workshops at the bookfair, along with planning benefits & socials, and other bookfair related admin.
If you'd like to get involved in helping the bookfair happen, or want to pick up some posters & fleyrs, then come along. But please note this is a working meeting with a full agenda, so no time wasters please!

Wednesday 16th saw a storming benefit at The Croft for this years anarchist bookfair. The venue was literally filled to capacity, with over £400 raised for the bookfair after costs, in a sweaty boisterous atmosphere – what a relief that smoking is only allowed outdoors these days. read full story / add a comment
