Why do they do it? Day after day, people converge on Bristol city centre and the out of town shopping malls, to spend, spend, spend…using their legal & illegal earnings, their credit and debit cards. Increasing their debts, and succumbing to the pressure to maintain a certain type of life-style, even if it's just an unconscious desire to be seen to be generous at this time of year. It's the time of giving ain't it?
