As I've seen no photos of the recent protest in Bristol City centre to mark the 4th anniversary of th UKs invasion of Iraq I thought I'd publish one for the record. This protest went on to develop into a march that ended up outside the BBC offices on Whiteladies Road which is coincidentally opposite Bristol's Territorial(!!!) This is a call to action to all responsible Bristolians to protect both their own and their children's future. The UK Government have launched and continue to maintain an illegal war of aggression, the supreme international crime under the statutes resulting from the Nuremburg Trials and are now attempting to a) crush any dissenting voices, b) attempting to engineer a situation whereby those who issued the orders for that illegal war can place themselves above International Law in order to preserve their shiny oh so smooth hides and protect themselves from the people. . read full story / add a comment

10.10 am on the way to the doctor's. Saw what looked very like 2 armed helicopter gunships flying low over Bristol. What madness is this? I thought. On their way to Gleneagles? Fifteen minutes later the doctor's husband phoned from London to say there were bombs going off there but he was okay. Methinks state repression is going to get very, very nasty as from today.
