Climate Camp Cymru is one of three climate camps being organised in the UK and is the nearest to Bristol. So come along and join with others in opposing climate chaos and the expansion of new open cast coal mining. The camp will be held somewhere within easy travelling distance (by public bus) of Merthyr Tydfil railway station. Four homeless polar bears appeared before Bristol Magistrates Court today 14th November. We were arrested after blockading the Royal Bank of Scotland corporate offices on Avon St. as part of the National Day of local action on 15th October called by Rising Tide. The day of action was to highlight the role of the Royal Bank of Scotland in financing the oil and gas industry resulting in climate chaos throughout the world. read full story / add a comment

Here's one report of a council meeting that took place last night. It was about the privatization of services for the care of the elderly.The following report does not do the occassion justice. The women present were on the verge of a riot as the council leaders once again refused to listen, simply attempting to pass the buck instead. I only hope that next time the public don't hold themselves back-and do indeed RIOT. We must protect the vunerable even if the council won't, otherwise it maybe our loved ones that suffer... read full story / add a comment
